- Get a vision for your year
The first step to getting on track for the new year is to get a vision for your year. What is it that you see for your business, career, health, relationships, travel or any other areas you want to focus on. At the beginning of each year, I take time to write my goals, dreams and intentions for what I want to manifest. Now, most people say write 10 or 20 goals, and that’s totally great. I like to take it a bit further by writing out 101 goals in my Success Journal. That can seem like a lot, but I’m a firm believer that the more goals you have the more you accomplish in your life. This doesn’t mean that you have to focus on all of them at once, but having them there will help you to think big for the new year.
Next, you want to come up with your word for the year. This can be anything from abundance, prosperity, commitment, health, travel, or anything else you want to manifest more of. For example, in 2017, my word for the year was abundance. I wanted an abundance of travel, an abundance of health, an abundance of money, and an abundance of next level opportunities. To hone in on what exactly I wanted, I would take each month or season to focus in on abundance in a particular area. So for July 2017, I focused on an abundance of attendees at our annual Success conference & tour. I wrote out my goals, meditated and visualized how many people we wanted to show up and what we wanted to accomplish at that event. It was amazing the results that manifested because I took time to really focus on the vision I set out for the year.
Take some time this week, and write out your vision and word for the year. This way you get clear on what it is you really want and desire.
2. Get a plan for your social media
It can be hard to stay consistent and meet your social media goals when you don’t have a plan for it. Just like anything else, if you don’t put thought and focus into an area, it’s easy to pass it over and many times you’ll find yourself stuck in the same place. That’s why I believe it’s so important to get quiet and think about the purpose of your content and what it is you want to achieve. For example, do you want to build your following, gain more clients from Instagram, grow your engagement, or even build your email list? Take some time to discover what your overall goal is, write that down and research ways to make it your reality.

3. Get committed and get consistent
The number one thing that is going to carry you in 2018 is your level of commitment to success and your vision that you set out to fulfill. Many times, the only thing holding us back from the next level is being consistent and creating new daily habits that will bring results. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that it’s not always who has the most talent, it’s about who is COMMITTED and CONSISTENT with showing up. As you kick off this year, ask yourself this, “What area am I going to be dedicated too and vow to do my best in, every day?”
