I decided that today would be Ask Ari Business Advice Day! I’m always excited to share my knowledge and the things I’ve learned in business from running Superstar Nail Lacquer. I took two questions posted on my Instagram (@AriTheHeiress) from @_tashaj and @terica2013. Thanks girls!
Question 1: What are some great ways to market? I’m not a very good marketer yet lol but I’m striving to be so where or how can I become better?
A: Well I would say first learn your craft! Start getting books on marketing and business. Research your business and gain knowledge. Remember that successful people educate themselves. I always wanted to do business and be in marketing. I started Superstar Nail Lacquer when I was just 18 years old and I would do my own marketing and advertising for it! Yet I still had to learn more about marketing. If I wanted to stand out and gain respect, I had to learn from people who knew more than me. I took college courses for marketing in business at Michigan State. I did international marketing in Europe. I did everything I could to expand and expose myself to great marketing. I would recommend you sign up for my Entrepreneur’s E-Class! It’s loaded with the marketing tools and techniques you need to succeed in business. I call it the foundational steps every young aspiring marketer or business owner should know! Check it out here: www.ariecourse.com Join us girl! 😉 xoxo
Question 2: How did you start so young with your business?
A: I’ve had a passion for business all my life. My first official business was called, The Billionheir Girl’s Club. It was a blog, t-shirt and accessory line for young girls who wanted to learn about fashion, entrepreneurship, and etiquette. I asked my parents to help me start up this business to build up capital and resources. Once I was around 18 years old, I decided that I wanted to expand. I used the resources from my previous business and help from my family to build my current company, Superstar Nail Lacquer. By then, I had learned how to run a business! It came down to determination. I was going into my first year at Michigan State University and I had to learn how to balance school and business. I sacrificed the partying, friends, and even hanging out to fulfill my dreams as an entrepreneur, but it was worth it! It really comes down to How Bad Do You Really Want It?! Ask yourself that. If you want something bad enough, you will do whatever it takes to get it! So be determined, fight for your dreams, and keep going until you make it girl! xoxo 😉
I know both of you are already on your way to succeeding just by asking me these questions! Keep pushing, keep going, and keep growing as an entrepreneur. I’m here to help you along the way!
Stay Inspired,
Ariana Pierce
