My favorite part of attending the last NYFW wasn’t just all the fabulous shows, but it was the behind the scenes view at the shows. Going backstage gives you an up close and personal view of what’s coming next season in fashion. I always take my camera, business cards and phone to record what the lead stylists are saying about the look they wanted to create for a particular show. The best part about having the iPhone recorder is that I am able to listen back on what was said from the designers and stylist, and write all about it here on the blog. It can be hard to remember it all off memory. In today’s post, I’m going to be giving you the insider details on what I found from the Naeem Khan show. From nails, to hair, to makeup, below you will discover an up close view of trends to come for spring 2015!

1. At the Naeem Khan show, I discovered lots of color and floral prints like the ones pictured here. Spring will be very feminine and bright. My backstage outfit  just so happened to match the color palette for the show. I guess I was right on!

2. Nude nails aren’t so naughty! Nude nails were seen all over the runway this season and are making their way back for spring. The lead nail artists at each show had one thing in common: Nails for spring 2015 will be very clean! Superstar Nail Lacquer has  a beautiful nude called, Skinny Vanilla Latte, that I would recommend to any fashionista wanting to stay on trend for the season.

3. Lead makeup artist, James Boehmer, said that glossy eyes and stained lips (“not too glossy or matte but just as if you drank a juice that left your lips stained”) are what will be making a comeback. I absolutely love this makeup look and will be pulling it out this fall!
