Black To The Rescue

Black Crochet Dress

Do you have an event or interview coming up and you just don’t know what to wear? Yea, I recently felt like this for my interview with FOX35. I was told that they would be filming me on my business and blog, so it would be casual. On the other hand, it was for TV, so dressing too casual wouldn’t be the best idea either. So what was I do to? Deciding on what to wear was actually the most frustrating part of preparing for it.

After digging and going through my closet, I decided to go for all black. It’s slimming, sleek and always looks good. I didn’t want just any black, so I decided to wear a black dress with lots of details and a crochet pattern. It brought the look to life without doing too much or being too flashy for a more conservative audience. It ended up being the perfect match for the area we filmed in, and made it easy for the camera guy because it was a nice solid color. I can honestly say that black, came to the rescue!

Added below are some sleek black dresses that I believe should be a staple in your closet as a fashionpreneur. The dress I’m wearing, from Zara, is no longer available so I’ve posted similar dresses that are just as fabulous. You never know what opportunity, call, or interview you may have in the near future, so being prepared is always a good idea. Honestly, the purpose for me buying the dress I’m wearing, was to have a back up outfit for meetings or TV interviews. Even if you aren’t doing TV, it’s great to prepare for important meetings or events you could get invited too. The funny thing about opportunities is that they don’t always come days in advance, so being prepared for them is key to staying fashionably ready!

I’m so grateful that I’ve achieved so much at a young age, and that I have the privelege of being a CEO and living the entreprenur’s lifestyle. I’m not content just to succeed for myself, though. I love to empower others and see them succeed also!
