As your trip to Coachella is quickly approaching, you are most likely planning your must-have outfits and makeup essentials for bound to happen street style shots that will be taken and that you’ll be posting on Instagram. It’s vitally important that as you are getting ready for the festivities, to remember your killer nail art. Events like Coachella are very fun and young. Nail art is a must, as plain nails just won’t cut it. These funky and colorful Aztec inspired designs will reflect the haute hippie festival aesthetic.
Items Needed: (All lacquer is by Superstar Nail Lacquer)
• Ambitious Blue
• Paparazzi Pink
• City Girl
• It Girl Orange
• Skinny Vanilla Latte
• Scotch Tape
Step 1: Apply two coats of Skinny Vanilla Latte. Allow to dry completely.
Step 2: Place ¼ -½ wide strips of tape across the middle of the nail bed. (This will help keep your design lines neat.)
Step 3: Paint the top of the Nail bed with Paparazzi Pink. Then paint the bottom of the nail with It Girl Orange. Allow to dry.
Step 4: Remove tape and use Ambitious Blue to paint diagonal lines across your nail. You’re basically painting the letter “M” across your nail.
Step 5: Add bright dots in between your “M” lines with City Girl to complete your Coachella Chic Nails!
