This post is in partnership with Disney.
I fulfilled all my childhood fantasies when I stepped foot in Toy Story Land with the girls. As a kid, I loved Buzz Lightyear, Woody and so many of the other characters in the movie. So you can probably guess how excited I was when seeing some of the characters in real life.
This newly updated part of Hollywood Studios is a place where the entire family can enjoy capturing creative pictures, riding roller coasters and eating a yummy meal at Woody’s Lunch Box. One of my favorite rides was the Slinky Dog Dash, which will have you screaming from beginning to end. The ride is pretty popular, so if you can get fast pass to it, I’d suggest doing so before you get to the park. I also enjoyed Alien Swirling Saucers, which was a total surprise; it’s much more intense than you think, but still kid-friendly. What I love most about it all, is that they make the area fun for adults and children. So whether you are planning a girls day, or an afternoon with the kiddos, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
While visiting this area of the park, you will find lots of entertainment from various characters from Toy Story. They put on shows and do fun interactive activities. That’s what makes Disney so unique. Whenever they add in an area from a movie or show, you feel like you are really stepping into the story. It’s not just a ride here and there, it’s an entire experience.
Toy Story Land is small enough to finish in one day with time left to enjoy the rest of Hollywood Studios. After riding the coasters, sitting for lunch and enjoy the entertainment, we made our way over to the Tower of Terror for some extra thrill. It’s really the perfect pair. You get to be a kid again and then step into the twilight zone. I’d give the new area a 10/10, and I’ll definitely be back for Slinky!
