Having the perfect morning can seem like a lost dream. Most of the time, hitting the alarm clock seems like the best idea, but that soon turns into rushing to get ready and not being able to find the right match to your favorite work shoes. Then comes the feeling of being worn out, stressed and frazzled. I know all about the stress that can come with mornings and getting to your appointments on time, and it’s not fun. Over time, I wanted something different….something like a perfect morning.
Routines are what successful people use in the business and fashion industry to stay organized and productive. After declaring that enough was enough, I discovered that creating a morning routine was the answer to what I was looking for. It helped me to launch my travel line, make more profits in my business, reach my goals, and have peaceful days. Today I’m going to share the steps to having the perfect morning.
1. Prayer and meditation. Prayer is the very first thing I do when I wake up. It makes me feel at peace and I am able to give thanks for a new day of opportunities and possibilities. Next, mediation is very important to the success that I see on a daily basis. Meditating on your goals, what you want to make in your business, and new projects help you to see your desired results before they ever manifest. It’s a fact that what you consistently focus on, you attract into your life. Make sure to think and focus on what you want and not on what you are afraid of, so that you are always producing positive things.
2. Journalize. Take time to journalize your goals and ideas that come to your mind in the mornings. Keeping things in your head is how you lose creative solutions. Take time to write out your top 10 goals for the day, your blog posts and product launches in the Superstar Chic Fashion Planner, which I created to help young entrepreneurs stay organized, productive and profitable.
3. Read. I get that you may only have a good 15 minutes to do your morning routine, so take time to read about 1 or 2 pages of a self-help book. Choose something that is going to push you to the next level and give you answers to what you may be going through at the time. Whenever I take time to read a page or two, I always find that I have more energy and insight to what it is I want to accomplish in my day.
4. Get cute pj’s. Investing in quality pajamas is a secret I’ve used to have a better morning. I always say that when you feel good about yourself, you are more confident which leads to better results in your life.
