Earlier this year, my boyfriend and I had the opportunity to get a private tour of the Rodeo Drive Burberry rooftop. Just so you can get a feel for what I mean, you usually have to to spend over $30,000 to be invited to the top level where celebrities and influencers are able to shop and get their fittings done in peace. We did some shopping, but on our level of course, lol! From the private elevator, to the amazing outdoor area that hosts the famous Burberry parties and social events, the view was breathtaking.
What I thought was even cooler was that as we were leaving, Elton John was making his way up to get fitted for a concert or event (can’t remember which one it was) he had that night. Ummm, AMAZING, right?
Whenever I’m somewhere new, I always use it as an opportunity to really evaluate and think about my business. Though my brand is a bit different than Burberry, the environment, designs and customer service made me think about my own personal brand. Immediately after finishing our private tour, I thought about things I could add to my business that would make it be more excellent. That’s the thing, exposure to new things really does and should create desire. When you see better, do better. Implement new strategies into your business for the better. It’ll keep you inspired. So this week, take some time to get outside your comfort zone and expose yourself to something new that will help you grow or better your business!
