The perfect suede dress was on the top of my wish list this season, and I got my hands on one from here. As a fashionpreneur who is always dressing up for meetings, conferences and media interviews, it’s important to look the part. When attending New York Fashion Week, there was lots of suede and burnt orange color shades all over the runway. It’s like a 70’s vibe was recreated and I instantly fell in love.
When thinking about what to pair with this dress, I was trying to decide on if I wanted to go for a black or white blouse. Black won, because I feel that it has a more dramatic feel for the fall/winter season. In always sunny states like here in Florida, it can be hard to pull off “winter looks” because it can reach up to 90 degrees mid winter. So one of the things I try to amp up in the warm winter months is the fall colors. It’s the easiest way fit in without looking like you are on your way to beach every day.
I’ve been receive a lot of requests to do makeup tutorials and that may be a great idea! Though this is not a tutorial, I will recommend a few red lipsticks that are in my opinion, a must. Here they are: Dolce & Gabbana, YSL and Smashbox. Leave a comment below and let me know how you’d style this look and what’s your favorite red lipstick.
