While at New York Fashion Week, I had a fabulous time brunching with model friends Millen and Funmi and blogger Tammie. We chatted about Millen’s special project LetsFaceItPeriod.org, which is geared towards helping girls in foreign countries who miss or drop out of school when they hit puberty. As she shared the stories of young girls around the world, I was not only moved, but silently gave thanks for being able to grow up here in America. When you hear things like this, it causes you to be grateful and not complain so much.
After great conversation, came the delicious entrees. Not one, but multiple plates began to make their way to our table. There were delicious crab cakes, french toast, fruit plates and my fave, garlic shrimp with quinoa. The food at Bryant Park Grill was absolutely amazing. Then came the dessert! I had to pinch a taste of peanut butter mouse and ice cream from my assistant’s plate. YUMMY!!
So would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely! It’s a great place to brunch with friends or family. We went on a Sunday afternoon so it was pretty packed, but it’s worth the wait. I’m planning a trip back to New York just to hit up this hot spot.
