When you are an entrepreneur, it’s so important to be in the right environment and have the right foods that’ll keep you going. There were times in the past where I would feel so sluggish, had mental blocks and just couldn’t come up with the right content for my business. I felt like it was so hard to get tasks done, and over time my work wasn’t producing the results I really wanted. One day, my team and I came together for a staff meeting and discussed the frustrations we were experiencing in the office. During that meeting, we decided that we would change our eating habits to see if just maybe that was the key factor in why we could not produce on a high level. Surely enough, we slowly added new healthy foods and eliminated the bad. Over time we began to see our energy, work ethic and profits increase. I could clearly see that when I changed my eating, I changed my life.
With this week being the launch of my all new online course, it means long days and even longer nights in the office. During this time, I’m usually stuck for hours at my desk with little time to get food or even make a snack. I decided that I would do something different by packing a lunch bag with only foods that were healthy and full of protein. One of my favorites is almonds, which have so many amazing benefits. They are considered one of the best brain foods, and are great for all the thinking and creative aspects that go into creating an online course. Plus, it helps with weight maintenance and can prevent overeating, which is exactly what I need when there’s little time to get in my workouts. It’s my on-the-go snack for travel, workdays and outings with friends. Another great energy booster is green tea. If I could drink tea every single day I would. It’s a great alternative to my coffee cravings and also helps me to keep going throughout my day. Add in a few drops of honey, and it’s the perfect drink to sip while working!
