Day 2 of LuckyFabb in New York City was absolutely life changing and informative. From around 10:30am to 5pm, I learned and sat under some of the most innovative entrepreneurs in the fashion, beauty and cosmetic industry. As an entrepreneur, I believe that you must continue to expand your mind by reading books, going to conferences, and investing in yourself in order to succeed. As I sat there listening to these successful entrepreneurs, I made sure to keep my ears open and be fully aware of how I could apply the many tips they provided to Superstar Nail Lacquer and Style Shoppe. One tip that stood out for me was to know your personal and business strengths and use them to your advantage. If your business is REALLY great at doing something, highlight that. Use it in your advertising, put it on your website, and talk about it. This is how you will and can differentiate your business from the rest. I could go on and on, but take a look at some of the pictures from day 2 at LuckyFabb 2013.
Day 2 of LuckyFabb was held at the Conde Nast Building in Times Square.
I’m pictured here with Katia Beauchamp, owner of Birchbox. She was so inspiring and I loved hearing her story of how she started her successful business!
Here, I am standing with Leandra Medine, author and fashion blogger to The Man Repeller. I absolutely love her!
Listening to Michelle Adams, from Domino Magazine, was amazing! It was so inspiring to hear how Domino magazine went under and seemed like it had failed, but recently it was announced that it was coming back in full effect. What a way to persevere and not give up!
I enjoyed hearing informative and inspiring tips from Neil Blumenthal from Warby Parker (An American company selling prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses).
In between sessions, I had to take the opportunity to explore Times Square. Though I visit New York often, there is always something new and exciting in the city. My girl, Lena (Beauty Blogger from LenaStylez.com) and I enjoyed lunch and beautiful sightseeing.
