Hey guys! I’ve made it safely to cold NYC and it has been super busy already. I hit the ground running yesterday with shows and events like Charlotte Ronson, Cynthia Rowley and August Getty to name a few. My favorite part about attending Fashion Week is that I am able to see what’s to come for the next season, which helps me incorporate new ideas and get creative with my new Style Shoppe accessory and Superstar Nail Lacquer collections. I am able to draw major inspiration from various designers and even add my own twist.
Of course, fashion week is the time to dress up and put your best fashion foot forward. This week happens to be unbelievably cold in NYC (think 15 degrees), so I had to find a look that would stand out, that would be fun yet WARM. So I went with the floral two-piece set from Front Row Shop and a powder blue Zara jacket. Deciding on the perfect shoe was hard. I didn’t know if I should go for more of a heel or a flat boot, but when I looked outside to discover patches of ice, I knew instantly that the flat boot was the answer. The crocodile-inspired print added some flair and style to the shoe.
I can’t forget to mention this beautiful, bold and exclusive bauble from Style Shoppe! It’s a new type of piece that I’m thinking about adding to our collection this spring. I love the 3D feel of it and how the necklace just pops off the shirt. What do you guys think?
Well, I’m getting my hair done right now before heading to my first set of shows. It’s a pretty busy day so I better log off, but before I go, I want to let you know that you can shop my Fashion Week looks by clicking the images at the bottom of this post. I’ve gathered some of the exact items I’m wearing each day, or you’ll find a piece that’s similar, but still offers the same look. Again, I appreciate you all following me on my journey to NYC.
