While traveling this weekend, I discovered something magical! Well at least magical to me, and that was the September bundle of 3 great magazines: Bazaar, Elle, and Marie Claire. I fell in love the moment I laid eyes on it. Any fashionpreneur knows exactly what I mean. Having the September issue is everything as it means a transition into the fall season.
The September issues gives fashionpreneurs around the world insight for what’s hot for fall and how to transition a great summer closet to one for the next season. This time of year reminds me of the movie/documentary, The September Issue & The Devil Wears Prada, where so much preparation goes into the September issue, as it is the biggest and largest issue. Reportedly taking anywhere from nine months to a year to put together, this particular issue is a defining month in fashion because fashionistas clamor to discover the pages of each issue and who will grace the cover.
As the most anticipated magazine of the year, Vogue’s September issue, is usually the last magazine to hit the stands. The cover for this year’s big issue was leaked and most were surprised as Vogue captured supermodels. Usually featuring a larger-than-life pop star or actor, it was something new and fresh to see the faces of Joan Smalls, Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss.
4 Reasons Why Every Fashionpreneur Needs September Issues
1. Helps you clean your closet and get rid of items that are dated OR add new must-have items for the new season.
2. Helps you look back on pieces you’ve been holding on to as they may be coming back in style.
3. The September issue (of most magazines) has the most ads, which are appealing because it features what’s new, what’s hot and what’s to come. Also featuring the new “it” accessories and nail trends.
4. Helps you map out your fashion for the change in seasons. It’s like your fashion atlas.
