I hope that your 2017 kicked off to a great start. I took some time away from the blog to refocus and hone in on my overall brand and businesses for the New Year. Writing goals, creating a vision board, and coming up with my word for the year in my Success Journal were some of the many things that I took time off to do. I believe that when you take a moment to really meditate and work on how you want your year to go, you can manifest so much. It’s refreshing, motivating and intentional!

In today’s blog post, I’m sharing one of my favorite trends for this season, and that’s a wide leg pant. I didn’t think that they would look that good on me being that I’m shorter, but I happened to get a pair (like these) and they were the perfect fit. Because of my shape, I decided to pair the pants with a fitted bell sleeve top to bring structure. The extra touch of leather on the sleeves really took it over the top, and it has literally become one of my favorite tops to wear this season. If I could get away with it, I’d wear it everyday!

Trying to figure out what to do with my hair was probably the hardest part of getting dressed. I’m usually one to wear my hair down, either straight or curled, but I wanted the focus to be on the outfit. There’s a lot of busyness happening, so I decided to put my hair in a top knot to keep it classy and sleek. When it came to choosing the perfect shoe, I had to pull out my Chelsea boots that I found while on my trip to London this past November. Office Shoes is one of my favorite stores and has these babies on sale right now for 60% OFF. YES! It’s definitely worth getting a pair because they are super comfy but go with everything, whether dressy or casual.
