Two Rules To Being A Success

1. Ask Good Questions.

Asking the right questions may seem like it’s common sense, right? Well there’re a few things that should be noted when it comes to asking for advice. As you are growing your brand and maturing as a young entrepreneur, there can be times when you really need advice from those who have achieved around you. That’s exactly what we are taught in school and from our parents, to ask and you shall receive. One ingredient that was missing from that lesson was asking questions with respect. As many of us know, it takes hard work and lots of dedication to grow a brand, make profits, and come up with unique ideas that set our businesses a part. Giving advice and help is something that most successful people desire to do, but they want to share it with those who will appreciate them and their knowledge. With this being said, when you want advice from those who you believe have your answer; it’s always polite to pay them for the information you will receive. It’s a fact that what we pay for, we value the most. Giving a seed of generosity to the person helping you shows your appreciation and respect for them taking the time to pour into your life. It doesn’t have to be a million bucks, but something that means a great value to you should be given. It will also open up the door for them to leave extra success clues for you. You wouldn’t go to work for free, right? Well it’s the same in entrepreneurship. If you want to receive advice and knowledge, you have to give something first.

2. Thank Those Who Have Helped You Along The Way.

Giving thanks is one of the greatest success secrets of all time. Showing appreciation for what you have and who has helped you, causes you to prosper on every level and in every way. Never become too prideful to say thanks to those who gave you advice, helped you in business, or even inspired you to become an entrepreneur. Saying thank you doesn’t take away from your success, it only makes you look better. Successful people help those who say thanks and remember what was done for them. It’s true, pride comes before a fall. If you see an entrepreneur that is thriving, just know that someone helped them get there. We all need someone to push, help, inspire, impact and lead us in the right direction. Of course you have to be dedicated and committed to becoming a success on your own, but there is always someone that has to give you a yes. Whether it’s a customer saying yes to buying your product, or a label saying yes to signing you, or even a magazine saying yes to mention you. Remember, that on your way to the top, there is always someone to thank!

I’m so grateful that I’ve achieved so much at a young age, and that I have the privelege of being a CEO and living the entreprenur’s lifestyle. I’m not content just to succeed for myself, though. I love to empower others and see them succeed also!
