Hi loves! I hope that you are having a great week so far. I know, I know, you probably wish it was the weekend so that you could relax and enjoy time with your family and friends. Yea, me too! One thing that I’ve learned over the years is that you must find something that keeps you motivated throughout the week. It can be your favorite song, a special treat or even doing a little exercise. I’ve decided that working out would be my stress reliever during the week. Getting at least 3 powerful workouts in per week has helped me to stay fit, active and have more energy. Because I have set my focus on getting in shape and bettering my health, everything else in my life and business has fallen into place. I encourage you to do the same. Find something that gives you hope and energy to push so that you too can have a successful week and even better weekend.
So, a little about this post – I decided that I would go with a pant suit for my last day at New York Fashion Week. This wasn’t a hard decision due to how COLD it was on this day. When I say cold, I mean freezing. I felt like I was Elsa or Ana from Frozen, LOL! To my surprise, this happened to be my most loved look from New York Fashion Week and I shared about the details here.
One of my favorite trends for spring is a nicely tailored men’s inspired suit, especially in this type of burgundy shade. I feel like it looks beautiful on every skin tone whether one is brown or pale. What really sold me on this look was the comfort yet style that it holds. I was able to maneuver from show to show easily and fabulously. I kept on with the trend by adding my favorite shoe right now, the Stella McCartney flatforms!
OH! One last thing before I go. I absolutely loved the makeup and dark burgundy lips done by my makeup artist, Maya. Lately, I have been loving a plum/dark lip and it’s something I’ll be wearing going into the spring season. Of course, when I don’t have my makeup artist on hand, it can be difficult to recreate this same type of look. If you aren’t a makeup expert, then it can be frustrating for you too. Every Sunday I do a style video, and this week I gave one of my favorite beauty hacks that will help anyone dealing with makeup application problems. You can see it here
